TechEd 2009 : Microsoft SharePoint Development Panel Discussion

Microsoft Tech-Ed 2009 is currently underway in Los Angeles. The Tech-Ed Online site is posting a large number of sessions for non-attendees to view. One particular video of interest is the Microsoft SharePoint Development Panel Discussion. This 48 minute video is a discussion between Rob Bogue, Matt McDermott, Todd Bleeker, Eric Shupps, Andrew Connell, Todd Baginski, Maurice Prather, and Scot Hillier. (If you have spent any amount of time Googling for SharePoint information, some of these names should be very familar.)

This discussion is an overview of the development process and tools available to developers working in the SharePoint universe. I've referenced the sites and tools mentioned below. Sprinkled throughout the discussion are guidelines and best practices that any SharePoint developer should adhere to. Also, they discuss the use of SharePoint Designer and the importantance of training and governance in its use.
